We’re excited to invite Houston-area Suzuki string students to participate in our group activities this year! Please note this group only program does not replace a private lesson with your current teacher; all students must be enrolled in weekly private lessons with a Suzuki-trained instructor to be eligible to participate in H-Town Strings Groups.

Group Class for Suzuki Books 1-3 Violin and Cello Students
Saturday Morning Group Class: Cellos 8:30-9:10am and Violins 9:15-9:55am.
Group Class takes place weekly either in person in our studio or online on Zoom.
Tuition includes all group classes, H-Town Strings T-shirt and participation in the Group Concert on April 27th.
Tuition: $50 per month billed in 8 installments September- April or $375 for the academic year. There are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes.
All students must be learning the Suzuki Method and have individual lessons with a teacher trained in the Suzuki Method.
All pieces in the Suzuki repertoire are expected to be memorized.
A parent must attend class with the student. This is not a drop-off class.
Students must submit a video of a memorized polished piece for placement.
Performing Ensemble for Suzuki Book 4+
The Performing Ensemble plays a variety of repertoire of different genres as well as pieces from the Suzuki repertoire. Performing Ensemble Rehearsals will take place on select Saturdays from 4:30-6pm at the Houston Professional Musicians Union at 5771 Enid St, Houston, TX 77009.

To enroll students must be:
Having regular private lessons.
Be able to read music.
Audition recording required. This video should be in one un-edited take.
A scale of your choice.
A memorized polished solo work of your choice of Suzuki Book 4 level or higher.
